Expert Legal Evaluations:
Led by Dr. Meyer, a Fellow of the American College of Forensic Psychology and an Illinois sex offender board-approved expert, our team provides thorough legal evaluations for both civil and criminal cases. Dr. Lohr collaborates closely with Dr. Meyer, and together they utilize current evidence-based practices to deliver reliable and insightful reports covering a broad spectrum of legal matters, including:
- Competency Evaluations
- Violence Risk assessments
- Sex Offender Assessments
- Custody Evaluations (604B)
- Parenting Evaluations (215B)
Specialized Assessments:
We also offer specialized evaluations for FOID Reinstatement, Fitness To Return To Duty, and for Pre-Employment Purposes.
Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessments:
Our team can provide timely and accurate diagnostic assessments for ADHD, differential diagnosis for treatment planning, and pre-surgical evaluations for weight loss surgery and Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) implantation.
Compassionate Therapeutic Services:
Our expert therapists provide individualized and evidence-based therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
- Irina Akimova, MSW, LCSW, CADC: Specializes in Adult and adolescent sex offender therapy, anger management groups, and individual therapy sessions.

Kristin Fell, MSW, LSW, CADC, QMHP: Provides therapy for children and adults. She has a special interest in addictions , though her practice expands to other mental health issues.
- Dr Meyer PhD is also available to provide consultation and therapeutic services to LGBTQ +youth and their families, as well as adults working through sexual identity issues.
